Transformation complete! KEW recently wrapped-up a $2 million environmentally-conscious renovation of our 110,000 SF shopping center formerly known as the Plaza at Westminster. Exterior renovations began last winter and includes a 426 panel photovoltaic system that, at 101 kilowatts, is one of the largest installations for solar power at a neighborhood retail strip center in Colorado. The transformation also includes a new facade, LED lighting, a windspire, xeriscaping, a new monument and entryway and several other eco-friendly design elements.

KEW begins the installation of a 104 kilowatt photovoltaic system on the rooftop of Plaza at Westminster retail strip center. The solar panel system will consist of 426 solar panels and will generate approximately 140,000 kW hours of clean electricity each year.

KEW Realty was a proud Presenting Sponsor of the 2010 Spirit of Sailing Gala. The event was hosted by Community Sailing of Colorado, a non-profit organization which promotes youth sailing in Colorado. KEW CEO, David Spira co-chaired the event with Michael Dannecker. This year's Brazilian Carnaval-themed event raised over $62,000. Proceeds will fund scholarships and support CSC's new program for the disabled.
